Balochistan yet to decide interim chief minister’s name: The caretaker CM candidate’s name cannot be changed, and today is the last day to choose a candidate for this position.

According to sources, Khan and Bizenjo had a consultation on Monday night in Islamabad regarding the choice of caretaker CM following the dissolution of the Balochistan Assembly. The conference also included Balochistan Awami Party leaders and Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani.

For this position, they said Khan had the name of former MNA Engineer Mir Usman Badini, but the parties were unable to exchange names because the government had not decided on the caretaker CM’s name. According to insiders, the conference came to an end without any progress.

The leader of the opposition anticipated a meeting with the Chief Minister today (Tuesday), with the hope of finalizing a name for the job.

On the other hand, the BAP leaders’ consultative meeting went on well into Monday night.
