Bilawal demands women rights: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and foreign minister, asserted that it is impossible to advance human rights without granting women equal rights.
The PPP chairman wished all mothers, sisters, and daughters of Pakistan a happy National Women’s Day and said that the day “is a symbol of Pakistani women’s battle for democracy and opposition to dictatorship,” according to a statement released by Bilawal House Media Cell on Sunday.
According to Bilawal, the Madar-e-Millat Fatima Jinnah, Madar-e-Jamhooriat Begum Nusrat Bhutto, and late Benazir Bhutto were role models for the rest of the world because of their extraordinary bravery, talent, and courage.
I take great satisfaction in the fact that Pakistan Peoples Party is the only party in the nation to have had two female leaders, he remarked.
According to Bilawal, Pakistan’s 1973 Constitution guarantees women’s equality, representation, protection, and equal opportunity for development.
The PPP leader gave the Pakistani women assurance that his party fully backed their efforts to put an end to all types of exploitation and discrimination.
