Bushra Bibi meets Imran Khan: After the Toshakhana case verdict, authorities have placed the 70-year-old PTI chairman under custody at Attock Jail.
When Bushra Bibi and the PTI chairman’s legal team arrived at Attock Jail to visit him, the police reportedly held them up for 30 minutes.
Later, Bushra Bibi was permitte to visit her husband in prison by the authorities. The hour-long meeting with the PTI chairman went on.
Security had already been notified outside the Attock Jail upon the former prime minister’s wife’s entrance there.
Bushra Bibi and her team will meet with the PTI chairman since they have the instructions of the Islamabad High Court, according to PTI chairman’s attorney Naeem Haider Panjutha.
According to Naeem Haider Panjotha, no objections were raise by any members of the legal team when they were instructe to meet the former prime minister.
In the Toshakhana case, a local court on Saturday convicted the PTI chairman to a three-year term and a Rs100,000 fine. This decision would alter the political landscape of the nation as it waits for general elections.
The court declared the concise judgment and imposed a five-year ban on him from holding any office. It also mentioned that the complete decision would be released at a later time.
Authorities then dispatched the PTI leader to Central Jail Attock.
