Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the caretaker prime minister, will speak at the 78th UN General Assembly meeting in New York on Friday and present Pakistan’s viewpoint on a variety of topics, including the Jammu and Kashmir conflict.

The first acting prime minister to represent Pakistan at the UNGA will be Kakar.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, he will participate at a significant climate change conference, engage with the global media, and visit renowned US think tanks.

Today, Kakar stated that the US business community should look into ways to strengthen its ties with Pakistan.

He delivered the comments while addressing a group from the US Pakistan Business Council (USPBC) outside of the UNGA.

The interim PM suggested industries where US businesses may increase their investments in Pakistan, including agriculture, fintech, pharmaceuticals and health, and digital banking.

However, The government’s primary aim, according to Kakar, is to continue luring foreign capital into all facets of Pakistan’s economy. He also emphasized the government’s commitment to creating a business-friendly environment and being open to recommendations.
