During the budget presentation, the chief minister proposed a wage increase of 35 percent for Sindh government employees in grades 1 through 16 and 30 percent for those in grades 17 through 22.
Development
According to Shah, the government has set aside Rs410 billion for development plans. According to Shah, the government has set aside Rs380 billion for the annual development program out of a total budget for development estimated at Rs689 billion.
In addition to regular ADP, “Government of Sindh’s Development Portfolio under Public Private Partnership mode stands at Rs. 487 billion,” with Rs. 60 billion in projects already completed, Rs. 144 billion in projects currently in various stages of construction, and Rs. 283 billion in projects currently in the bidding stage.

Murad Ali Shah commented on recent floods, recommending Rs160 billion for the victims of the rain and floods, Rs12 billion for megaprojects in Karachi, and Rs90 billion for the works services department.
Education
Furthermore, The Education Department will receive 353 billion rupees. The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) will appoint about 1500 lecturers.
The budget includes Rs 403.3 million for developing 23 new institutions in various province districts. Public institutions will receive an Rs. 25 billion grant, while Rs. Three billion will be set aside to build schools destroyed by recent flooding.
Health
Additionally, The suggestion is to allocate Rs 20 billion for the development budget of the health department.
Furthermore, CM Murad Ali Shah stated they would collect Rs235 billion in sales taxes between 2023 and 2024 and Rs143 billion in excise and other taxes.
He stated that the non-tax revenue would reach 32 billion rupees, while the Public Sector Development Programme would contribute 21.9 billion.
