COAS witnesses field fire, battle drills near Jhelum

According to a statement from the military’s press office, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir visited the Tilla Field Firing Ranges close to Jhelum on Wednesday and saw field fire and fighting drills.

COAS witnesses field fire: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the Army Chief received a briefing on the occasion regarding the training objectives outlined for the exercise. The aim was to evaluate the operational readiness of the formation in a challenging environment.

The soldiers received praise from the COAS for their “battle proficiency and offensive spirit.”

He also admired the soldiers’ excellent morale and combat readiness.

Lieutenant General Syed Aamer Raza, Commander 4 Corps, welcomed the Army Chief earlier after his arrival.
