Dahani ruled out PSL 8: Shahnawaz Dahani’s finger injury on his bowling hand has forced him to withdraw from the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League while playing for the Multan Sultans.
On Wednesday, Multan Sultans announced through Twitter that the fast bowler had fractured the index finger on his right hand, preventing him from playing in the current campaign.
The Sultans remarked, “We wish him a swift recovery and hope to see him back with the squad soon.”
In the PSL opener on Monday, Multan Sutlan lost to Lahore Qaladnars by one run. Dahani was a member of the playing XI.
He completed his allotted number of pitches during the game and claimed a wicket on the last ball of his fourth over.
Although the Multan Sultans have not yet announced a replacement for the injured pacer, sources claim that they have given Carlos Braithwaite of the West Indies permission to take over.
Today at Multan Cricket Stadium, the Mohammad Rizwan-led Sultans will compete against the Quetta Gladiators.
