Donald Trump praises Hezbollah as ‘very smart’

Trump praises Hezbollah: “(Netanyahu) has suffered a great deal as a result of what has occurred here. He lacked readiness. In an interview that aired on Fox News on Wednesday night, Trump said that both he and Israel were unprepared.

According to Trump, Hezbollah is wise because no one has ever witnessed the kind of sight that we have.

Israel and the White House have both harshly criticised Donald Trump’s statement.

A White House spokeswoman called out the former US president for making “dangerous and unhinged” remarks about the Israel-Gaza conflict.

The White House also voiced concerns about how a former US president could endorse a group backed by Iran.

Israel also denounced Donald Trump’s comments on Thursday, calling them “shameful” and “unreliable” for applauding Hezbollah and insulting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the ongoing conflict.

Israeli Communications Minister Shlomo said to the local media outlet Channel 13: “It is shameful that a man like that, a former US president, aids propaganda and disseminates things that wound the spirit of Israel’s fighters and its citizens.”
