The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced on Tuesday that the Pakistani men’s and women’s teams will tour England in May of next year to play the white-ball series.
ECB announces schedule for Pakistans: The ECB has announced that England Men and Women will play a white-ball series against Pakistan simultaneously to kick off the summer’s international competition.
The men’s Pakistani squad will play a four-match T20I series against England from May 22 to 30, according to the ECB’s schedule.
The national men’s squad will play a T20I series against each of the Netherlands and Ireland on their trip before going to the UK.
At this time, we will not disclose the specifics of Pakistan’s trip to the Netherlands and Ireland.
The most recent T20I series between Pakistan and England Men took place in September 2022, with the latter team winning 4-3 on Pakistani grounds.
In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, the two teams also faced off, and with to Ben Stokes’s heroics, England defeated Pakistan to win the tournament for the second time.
Notably, Pakistan last competed in a T20I series in England back in 2021, losing 2-1 to the strong hosts.
Additionally, the Pakistani women’s tour of England was announced by the ECB.
The national women’s team will play three matches in each of the T20I and ODI series, according to the ECB’s schedule.
