Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) intra-party election case, a four-member bench of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), presided over by Nisar Durrani, has reserved judgement, according to APP on Wednesday.

ECP reserves judgment in PTI election case: Barrister Gohar, the legal counsel for the PTI, allegedly begged for forgiveness, asserting that the panel had the authority to disregard the matter.

It’s vital to remember that the commission had given PTI until August 30 to make their case about the intra-party election issue.

A member of the ECP named Nisar Durrani recommended that the situation not go on for too long.

In advance of the 2018 general elections, the electoral Commission has already sent electoral insignia to the majority of political parties.

After the discussions are over, a decision will be taken regarding the awarding of electoral symbols to PTI.

Due to the PTI’s leadership neglecting to organise intra-party elections on August 4, the ECP had summoned them.

Additionally, Sources claim that the party received a notice from the electoral watchdog for failing to hold the intra-party elections. The PTI leader’s name was on a notice that the ECP had issued.

The ECP hasn’t yet said when it will make its choice on the subject public.
