The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), there will not be any general elections within 90 days.
Elections not possible in 90 days: According to information, the Pakistani Election Commission has chosen to hold the future general election on the census of 2023.
According to the ECP, the commission is required to complete the delimitation procedure. The first publishing will take place on October 9 and the last one on December 14.
“The ECP meeting decided that the delimitation process will consult the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) and the provincial governments.”
Nationwide delimitation will occur from September 8 to October 7, following the completion of administrative measures on August 31.
On August 21, they will establish delimitation committees. From October 10 to November 8, you can file a complaint against the delimitations. The delimitation procedure will take four months, according to the ECP.
Prior to the general elections, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) sent directives to the caretaker administrations.
In order to provide a level playing field for all candidates and political parties in the next general elections, the ECP gave instructions to the caretaker governments at the national and provincial levels, according to the state news agency.
In order to ensure fair elections, the Commission also outlawed postings and transfers of public officials. Citing Clause 2(f) of Section 230 of the Elections Act of 2017, the Commission stated that “neither the federal nor the provincial governments may post or transfer any public official after the notification’s issuance without obtaining prior written approval from the ECP.”
