Veteran actor and broadcaster Faysal Quraishi exposed the minority in society that prefers extramarital affairs to marriage, and he feels that the Islamic method of marriage, known as nikkah, is far superior to courtship.

Faysal Quraishi Nikkah is better: During his podcast appearance, Faysal revealed a number of personal details that had caused him to experience deep sadness following his divorce from his first wife. He also mentioned that he had received criticism following the split.

When Faysal got married at the age of 18, he claimed it was out of love, but errors really make you stronger. He clarified that it was during his early years that he fell in love and wed.

He stated that while people used to criticise “divorce,” they also supported dating four or five women, which is immoral and unreligious and sends the message that “dating” is the proper path while marriage is the equivalent of a crime.

Additionally, Faysal brought up the disparaging remarks Mahira Khan had to deal with throughout her marriage to Salim Kareem.

“While discussing marital rape, the actor identified society’s weakest link in the nurturing process by citing religious teachings. The actor argued that society obligates wives to obey their husbands, but fails to teach men how to treat their spouses. Instead, society should promote men showing their spouses kindness, love, and cleanliness.”
