The females of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members in Lahore refuted allegations of rape and torture in detention.
PTI workers denied torture or rape: Aliya Hamza, Sanam Javed, and Tayyab, three female PTI employees, were brought before a Lahore anti-terrorism court for their suspected participation in the May 9 riots.
In their casual conversation, Aliya Hamza, Sanam Javed, and Tayyaba denied all forms of torture in the jail. They also refuted the allegations of rape made by the former prime minister and PTI leader.
They haven’t broken any laws, according to Sanam Javed, who called holding them behind bars “injustice.”
The previous premier said that women were mistreated to put pressure on political figures. The administration had rejected the charges of “mistreatment” of PTI women detainees.
However, When discussing the treatment of female inmates housed in Kot Lakhpat Jail, Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Investigation Dr. Anoosh Masood stated, “The prisoners told me that they are not encountering any troubles in the jail. Furthermore, Male jail employees are not permitted on the property, and women are housed in separate cells from men.
