Gen (ret) Bajwa assisted PDM on Imran Khan’s no-trust motion: Mustafa Khokhar

Former PPP senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar asserted that former army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa supported PDM in the motion of no-confidence against Imran Khan.

In an interview with the Geo News show Naya Pakistan on a private TV channel, Khokhar asserted that there is mounting evidence against him.

When addressing Bajwa’s extension bill in the National Assembly during the PTI administration, they completed it in 12 minutes and that the establishment prolonged it.

Mustafa Khokhar asserted that the establishment played a significant part in uniting various branches of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).

He claimed that Parvez Elahi, the chief minister of Punjab, had been instructed to join the PTI. As a result of intense pressure from the establishment on the PPP leadership, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari issued an apology for his remarks at the Asma Jahangir Conference.

During the Senate no-confidence vote, “no ordinary individual could have planted cameras.” The process used to elect Yusuf Raza Gilani as the leader of the opposition was therefore flawed.

After stepping down as a senator, Khokhar left the PPP a month later due to disagreements with the party’s leadership over party policies.

After resigning as a senator on November 10 and promising to uphold his “independence,” Khokhar, the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s spokesperson, resigned from the party.

He left the party because it didn’t like his political attitude. Although Khokhar dissented from April’s appointment as a state minister, he nonetheless opposed the government.

The leadership “wasn’t happy with my political positions and asked my resignation from the Senate,” according to Khokhar. Who claimed in tweets from November that a prominent party official had informed him of this. My will submit my resignation tomorrow, insha’Allah, said the former spokesman for Bilawal. I voluntarily agreed to retire.
