Gold price decrease in Pakistan: The ongoing price cuts are a relief to consumers, and they may also help the jewellery industry, which has been struggling.
According to data from the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs 200 to close at Rs 218,500, while the price of 10 grammes of 24 carat gold decreased by Rs 172 to close at Rs 187,328.
The precious metal’s price dropped by $5 to reach a settlement of $1,929 per ounce on the world market.
