On Friday, the price of a tola of gold in Pakistan jumped by Rs2,900.
Gold prices increase in Pakistan: The price of 24-carat gold in the local market was Rs235,500 per tola, according to rates provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Likewise, the cost of 10 grammes of gold increased by Rs2,486 to R201,903.
In spite of a record rupee decline against the US dollar on Thursday, gold prices in Pakistan remained stable.
On Friday, the price of the precious metal jumped by $4 to $1,919 per ounce on the global market.
At the same time, the price of silver increased by Rs50 to Rs2,850 per tola.
