Pakistan’s gold prices decreased in line with the tola price, which fell by Rs. 1,200 on the local market.
Gold rates decrease in Pakistan: According to the association, the price of 24 carat gold declined by Rs1,200, settling at Rs211,800 per tola in Pakistan.
Similarly, the price of 10 grammes of the precious metal fell by Rs. 1,029 to Rs. 181,584.
U.S. gold futures declined 0.4% to $1,987.10, while spot gold fell 0.2% to $1,978.14 per ounce.
October saw a 7.3% increase in spot gold prices, which this week reached a five-month high of $2,009.29.
Wang Tao, a technical analyst for Reuters, says that once gold repeatedly fails to break above a resistance level at $2,010, it may drop into a range of $1,951–$1,964 per ounce.
Palladium remained stable at $1,116.19, platinum fell 0.9% to $925.18, while spot silver fell 1.5% to $22.56 per ounce.
