The Federal Ministry of Interior has decided to deploy Pakistan Army forces all throughout the nation during Muharram.

Govt decides countrywide military in Muharram:. A circular sent to the provinces stated, “Army troops are being deployed throughout the nation under Article 245.”

Four provinces, Gilgit Baltistan, and the Azad Kashmir administration have all received the circular from the interior ministry.

According to the ministry, “military troops are being deployed at the provinces’ request for the maintenance of law and order.”

It should be noted that the Punjab administration requested on Wednesday that the Pakistan Army and Rangers be stationed in the province to uphold peace and order throughout Muharram.

The Rangers and the army have been summoned in crucial province areas at the request of the district administration.

Additionally, the province of Sindh has banned pillion riding on the ninth and tenth of Muharram.

Amid worries over security during Muharram ul Haram, Islamabad police have prohibited the entry of motorcycles into the Red Zone.

A police spokeswoman stated that the prohibition will be in effect until Muharram 12 and that a shuttle service had been started to make it easier for people to enter the Red Zone from Sarina Chowk, Parade Avenue, and Marriot Chowk.
