In place of an injured Ahsan Ali, former Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez will join the Quetta Gladiators in the eighth Pakistan Super League.

Hafeez will reportedly join the Gladiator team in the upcoming days after opener Ahsan sustained a knee injury, per the sources.

“The PSL 8 draughts did not select the right-handed hitter who played for Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars in previous PSL seasons.”

The 42-year-old hit nine fifty-plus runs in the PSL, averaging 27.51, for a total of 1596 runs.

“Today in Multan, the defending champion Lahore Qalandars will play their debut game against the Multan Sultans as part of the eighth edition of Pakistan’s premier league.”

On the other side, on February 15 at Multan, Quetta Gladiators will play their inaugural match versus Multan Sultans.
