A local court in Karachi granted bail to Haleem Adil Sheikh, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), in connection with a fraud case.

Haleem Adil Sheikh gets bail: “In response to a citizen’s complaint, the Memon Goth police station opened a fraud case against PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh and his three brothers.”

The court granted Haleem Adil’s request for bail, which included $100,000 in surety bonds.

The FIR claims that on November 26, 2019, Aleem, Haleem’s brother, promised to transfer ownership of a land in a housing society in exchange for obtaining Rs60 million.

He continued by saying that he later discovered that the original land records were nonexistent. The individual alleged that when he exposed the financial scam, someone held him at gunpoint at a farmhouse and issued threats.

Further, An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi delivered Haleem Adil Sheikh, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), to the police for a three-day physical detention.

The Karachi anti-terrorism court detained Haleem Adil, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), once more on August 31, hours after an ATC had ordered his release.
