ICC announces prize money for World Cup: Of the USD 10 million total prize money, the champions of the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will receive USD 4 million, according to the ICC.
The team that finishes as the runner-up in the Final, set to take place on November 19 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, will receive USD 2 million.
In the Group Stage, all 10 teams will play each other once in a round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals.
Furthermore, Each team that does not progress to the knockout rounds at the end of the group stage will receive $100,000, as noted.
Additionally, The opening match of the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup pits England, the defending champion, against New Zealand on October 5 at Ahmedabad, India’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
