Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), had his bail requests for cases involving the May 9 riots allowed by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday.
IHC accepts Imran bail pleas: A two-member bench of the Islamabad High Court, consisting of Chief Justice Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri, took up the PTI chairman’s 9-B petition.
After hearing the PTI chairman’s arguments, the court overruled the lower court’s decision to dismiss the case for non-compliance.
The IHC reinstated the former prime minister’s bail requests and ordered the police not to the detain him until the trial court had made a decision on them.
Additionally, it’s important to remember that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI chairman, currently detained at Adiala jail on a cypher case, had his bail pleas dismissed due to the non-compliance.
Last week, they transferred the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman and former prime minister from Attock prison to Adiala.
Sources state that the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) issued an order for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman to be transfer to Adiala Jail in the cypher case.
