Imran khan claims he is unafraid despite the “red lines” surrounding him

Imran Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), claimed that his party members were being pressured to leave him and were being led to believe that he had been marked with a “red line” and had no future in politics. He vowed to break down all of these obstacles with the aid of his supporters.

Before a trust vote that Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi would have to face, the former prime minister once more accused the establishment of interfering in politics and claimed that PTI MPs were being pressured to change their allegiance.

Mr. Khan claimed in a speech to the Punjab parliamentary party that those who sought to dismiss him were “arrogant” and lacking in political knowledge.

Mr. Khan challenged the establishment’s claim that political maneuvering would harm his party, PTI, by saying that the support of the people, demonstrated on April 10 when he left office through a vote of no confidence, would “blow away” any such efforts.

He claimed that by supporting PTI in the by-elections in July and October, voters had upset the plans of the powerful.

In exchange for elections taking place in both Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa within a certain amount of time, the PTI is relinquishing its two provincial assemblies, Mr. Khan hoped.

He continued by saying that if his party won, it would lead the nation’s government and make “bold decisions.”

“Punjab lawmakers”

Regarding the Punjab Assembly, Imran Khan said he was keeping an eye on the PTI’s representatives since their backing was essential to keeping Mr. Elahi as chief executive. Mr. Khan welcomed independent MPA Bilal Warraich to the PTI, saying that the victory aim was not far off.

Parvez Elahi, the chief minister of Punjab, and Hussain Elahi met with Mr. Khan earlier in the day to discuss the upcoming vote of confidence in the Punjab Assembly.

In addition, Mr. Khan criticised the Center for putting Mr. Elahi’s relatives on the no-fly list.

Imran khan remarked, “We shall sign the country’s death certificate if we embraced the cabal of crooked rulers,” chiding the powers-that-be for pressuring the populace to accept the “regime change” rulers and frightening them through torture and pressure.

He claimed that the PDM administration now had no choice than to approach the IMF and request assistance in exchange for hyperinflation.

He also made fun of the former president Asif Zardari for trying to buy PTI MPAs’ allegiance before the vote of confidence. But he hailed Mr. Zardari for purging his party of “rotten eggs” (20 traitors).

He blasted the PDM administration for destroying the country’s functioning economy and claimed that even Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was making fun of the Pakistani government. In addition, he questioned the wisdom of sending a sizable group to Geneva.
