Anwaarul Haq Kakar, the caretaker prime minister (PM), reaffirmed on Tuesday that the interim administration will guarantee that the upcoming general elections were conducted in the most open, fair, and inclusive manner possible.
PM Kakar facilitate transparent elections: After visiting Mazar-e-Quaid to pay respects and offer Fateha during his maiden trip to Karachi as interim prime minister, Anwaarul Haq Kakar made these comments to reporters.
In a press conference, the acting prime minister stated that the interim administration will only be in place for the electoral process.
He continued by saying that they would do their part to help Pakistan get through its constitutional transition period by holding fair elections.
The governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tissori, the caretaker chief minister, Justice (Retired) Maqbool Baqir, and the members of his cabinet were in attendance with the prime minister.
The prime minister stated that he, along with a small number of his cabinet members, had come to pay respects to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and to reaffirm their commitment to working for the success and prosperity of the nation by focusing on the social contract that gave rise to a separate state.
He mentioned the speech of the nation’s founding father before the Constituent Assembly on August 11, 1947, stating that it revolved around minorities’ rights and equality for all people.
According to Prime Minister Kakar, the nation’s citizens would succeed in many professions based on their talents, and that would be good for the nation’s future.
Prior to it, the prime minister offered Fateha and placed a flower wreath on the nation’s founder’s grave. Additionally, he recorded his thoughts in the visitor’s book.
The prime minister will preside over a meeting to discuss the development projects while he was in Karachi.
Anwaarul Haq Kakar will also meet a delegation from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P). According to sources, PM Kakar will also meet a delegation of traders and businesspeople.
