India will host the 71st Miss World 2023 pageant, which will take place at the end of the year, the Miss World Organisation announced on Thursday.

India hosts 71st Miss World 2023: In India, the contest was last conducted in 1996. The organization stated on its website that it decided to “recognize the nation’s rich cultural heritage, promote diversity, and empower women.”

The Miss World Organisation is a global beauty contest that honors women’s intelligence, good deeds, and humanitarian activities from different nations.

During a press announcement in New Delhi, India, Miss World Organisation Chair and CEO Julia Morley said: “I am happy to announce India as the new host of the 71st Miss World Final. India has always held a special place in my heart since I first traveled there more than 30 years ago.

We are eager to introduce the rest of the world to your distinctive and varied culture, world-class attractions, and magnificent settings.

She said, “We present the 71st and most spectacular Miss World final ever,” adding that “71st Miss World 2023 will showcase the Achievements of 130 National champions in their one-month journey across ‘Incredible India.'”

The statement said, “The pageant has a history of supporting philanthropic causes and motivating women to become change agents in their communities.

“Miss World 2023: Celebrating Ambassadors of Change and India’s Grace, Beauty, and Progressive Spirit”

This year, the contenders will actively participate in several demanding events, including talent shows, sporting challenges, and philanthropic endeavors. These events aim to emphasize the traits that make them ambassadors of change.

Before the big finale, scheduled for November or December of 2023, the organizers will conduct multiple rounds to select candidates over one month.

Karolina Bielawska, the victor of Miss World 2022, continued, “India prepares to welcome the world with open arms with the 71st Miss World 2023 and showcase the country’s grace, beauty, and progressive spirit.”

“Join us as we begin this extraordinary journey together in celebrating the ability of women to make a difference.”

However, India has taken first place six times. Bollywood legends like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Manushi Chhillar have already won.
