Indian politician demands declaring moon a state

Must Read

The president of the Hindu extremist group All India Hindu Mahasabha, Swami Chakrapani Maharaj, has called on the Modi administration to recognise the moon as the “Hindu Sanatan Rashtra” following Chandrayaan-3’s lunar landing.

Indian politician demands declaring moon state: Following the successful arrival of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon, Indian lawmaker Swami Chakrapani urged in a video message posted to his verified X account that the Modi administration proclaim the moon to be Hindu property before that of other faiths.

“In his video message, Swami Chakrapani suggested naming the Chandrayaan-3 landing site the capital of Hindu Rashtra before any other religion arrives and claims possession of the moon.”

He has also pushed for the Parliament to adopt a resolution on the subject. Indian media claims that Swami Chakrapani has a history of criticising other religions, particularly Islam, and fomenting unfavourable ideas. He is the type of politician who, in order to avoid the 2020 Corona outbreak, hosted a party in the Indian capital where partygoers drank cow urine.

As you may remember, last week saw the historic Chandrayaan-3 landing on the south pole of the moon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that he would recognize the landing location as Shiv Shakti Point.
