The entire music video for “Pasoori Nu,” the Indian version of Ali Sethi and Shae Gill’s international smash song, has debuted on YouTube and other music streaming services a day after the teaser for the song was made available.

The primary actors Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani perform the Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar song while mouthing the rewritten Hindi lyrics, showcasing their on-screen chemistry.

Indian remake of super hit Pasoori: Aaryan and Advani don identical outfits in the song video as they give sneak peeks at their next movie. The Punjabi and Urdu-sung original song has been given a Bollywood makeover for “Satyaprem Ki Katha.” The remake includes a new bridge, minor chorus changes, and previously unheard instrumentation. Gurpreet Saini and Sethi wrote the lyrics and Rochak Kohli composed the music.

However, some contend that the remake fails to replicate the original’s simplicity and enchantment. With Arijit Singh’s voice taking centre stage, the song has undergone numerous alterations that result in an odd and disconnected mashup of other Bollywood songs. Desire has taken the place of the complexity and agony that Sethi and Gill so masterfully portrayed in the original. “Pasoori Nu” honours its predecessor, but it can’t compare to the impact of the first “Pasoori.”

Presenting the song Pasoori Nu from the movie Satyaprem Ki Katha, the “Satyaprem Ki Katha” creators advertised the song after its release. Relive the worldwide sensation! Satyaprem is portrayed by Kartik Aaryan, and Katha by Kiara Advani.

On Pakistani social media, the Coke Studio remake’s announcement caused uproar. Fans complained that Bollywood had turned the poignant words of “Pasoori” into a love song.
