Islamabad United defeats Karachi Kings with ease

In the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi, the fourth game of the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) saw Islamabad United defeats Karachi Kings by a margin of four wickets.

With to Colin Munro and Azam Khan’s outstanding performances, Islamabad upset Karachi Kings, who suffered their second home loss.

After deciding to bowl first, Shadab Khan’s Islamabad limited Karachi to a 174-run mark, which they then successfully chased down in 18.2 overs.

Munro put Islamabad in front of the chase after scoring 58 runs off just 28 balls, and Azam slammed a furious 44 runs off the same number of balls.

Before getting bowled out due to a mix-up involving him and Azam, Munro blasted five boundaries and five maximums.

Karachi made early advances thanks to Mohammad Amir and Musa Khan.

After the teenage hitter struck Hassan Nawaz (7) for a four, the left-arm bowler Amir quickly dismissed him with a short pitch.

After Paul Stirling scored four runs, Musa, who had previously played for Islamabad, defeated the dangerous hitter.

Imad Wasim, the captain, bowled Rassie van der Dussen for 31 runs to end their 59-run partnership after the two pacers quickly took two wickets each.

After a spirited start, Tom Curran sent opener Sharjeel Khan (34) back to the pavilion.

Rumman Raees, an accomplished bowler, made an early breakthrough for his team to signal the start of the game and his return to Islamabad United. On the final ball of his first over, the left-arm bowler bowled James Vince (#4) with a stunning in-swinging delivery.

Wasim, Rumman Raees, and Curran each got two wickets for Islamabad United, and Ashraf also claimed a victim.
