Hafiz Hamdullah injured in blast: Initial reports indicate that during his visit to the Balochistan city of Mangocher, the JUI-F leader, who also serves as the spokesperson for the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) alliance, sustained injuries. One of his aides and his gunner were also injured in what authorities are describing as a roadside explosion.

They have relocated all three to Quetta’s Mir Ghaus Bakhsh Raisani Hospital, where medical attention is being provided to them.

“The extent and type of injuries sustaine by the gunman and his assistants are currently undisclose, leaving the nature of their injuries unknown.”

“The explosion caused injuries to eight other individuals as a coaster transporting passengers was also damage.”

The explosion may have been a suicide assault, according to a statement from Deputy Commissioner Mastung Abdul Razzaq Sasoli, who noted that the inquiry is ongoing.

In addition, a witness told the media that just prior to the explosion, a motorcyclist ploughed his bike into Hafiz Hamdullah’s vehicle.
