More than two years after getting married in London, UK, Junaid Safdar, the son of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, has divorced his wife, Ayesha Saifur Rehman.
Junaid Safdar divorces wife: Safdar confirmed in an Instagram story on Thursday that the information regarding his divorce was accurate. “This is a completely private matter, and I ask that you respect our privacy in the media.”
On August 22, 2021, Junaid and Ayesha exchanged vows at a magnificent reception held at The Lanesborough, a posh hotel in Knightsbridge. Maryam and Captain Safdar, his parents, were unable to travel outside of the nation, so they were unable to attend the wedding.
Nawaz Sharif, a former prime minister, and Ishaq Dar, a former finance minister, were present at the wedding and sat next to Junaid as he signed the nikah documents.
During Nawaz’s second term as prime minister in 1997, he appointed Saifur Rahman Khan, a trusted confidant of Nawaz Sharif, as the chairman of the Ehtesab Bureau. Saifur Rahman Khan is Ayesha’s father.
They hosted the wedding reception in Islamabad on December 14 and held the valima in Lahore on December 17.
Junaid made news in June 2021 when he took part in the famed annual Oxford against Cambridge Varsity Match.
“I pray that this choice may lead to peace for us, in the name of Allah. I’ll stop talking about this now, Safdar wrote in the post against the gloomy background. “I wish her the best,”
Following the announcement, Junaid deleted all of his Instagram photos of himself and his ex-wife.
