During an appearance on “The Talk Talk Show” this week, British-Pakistani actor Kubra Khan criticised the behaviour of troll-ing prominent people while highlighting the significance of mental health.
Kubra opens up about mental health: “The internet community will continue to mock and humiliate individuals before apologising. It’s amusing how they don’t care about someone’s mental health, said Khan, who started her career playing parts in Urdu television plays and motion pictures.
“It’s critical that I defend my own interests. We are simply simple prey.
Khan sued a YouTuber for defamation earlier this year after the user made statements without any supporting evidence. The YouTuber identified a number of other stars and models, including Khan.
“We are fairly indifferent with the political situation in the country because we are so absorbed in our art and craft.
“People feel free to talk about us however they want because they feel it’s okay because we are in the media.
She continued, “It is absolutely not acceptable to criticise my character or integrity in any way.
The actor admitted that she didn’t recognise she needed to file a lawsuit to put an end to this until she had a major panic attack and had to go to the hospital.
social problems
Khan stated that while the screenplay is important, “what matters is how it is implemented” while discussing the significance of accurately presenting societal concerns on film.
Social problems are significant. It’s not always necessary to make everything so gloomy. You can discuss sensitive topics that are taboo without giving the audience cause for unwarranted apprehension.
“It’s crucial to instill courage and life-coping skills in the audience.
Dramas must have relatable themes. We have the ability to communicate subtly about highly important topics. Relatability enters the picture at this point.
One of my favourites films is “Cake” since it is so subtly done.
Ineffective performances
With the comedy-thriller “Na Maloom Afraad,” Khan made her film debut in 2014. She later made appearances in “Welcome 2 Karachi” and “London Nahi Jaunga.”
Khan named ‘Alif Allah Aur Insan’ and ‘Sang-e-Mah’ as her “worst performances” as she concentrated on her career.
“‘Alif Allah Aur Insan’ offended me. I despised my persona. ‘Sang-e-Mah’ was another performance I didn’t do well in. I was only able to view the first two scenes of the drama. I believe I could have done it so much more effectively.
The following movie starring Khan is “Jannat Say Agay,” which was written and directed by Umera Ahmed and stars Gohar Rasheed, Ramsha Khan, and Talha Chahour.
At the end of August, the following month, the drama is scheduled to show.
