Nawaz Sharif to return to Pakistan in October: Shehbaz Sharif

Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), would return to Pakistan in October, according to former prime minister and current PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif.

Nawaz Sharif return Pakistan in October: Shehbaz explained to the media that he and his elder brother decided to extend Nawaz’s homecoming by one month during their discussion.

The decision was made after discussions with the party’s senior leadership, he claimed. “Our quaid [leader] Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan in October,” he said.

Nawaz will oversee the party’s election campaign after he returns home, according to the PML-N president.

Media reports suggested that Nawaz had postponed his trip to Pakistan, with a likely return date of October 15. Shehbaz subsequently confirmed this information.

Nawaz was previously reported to be returning to Pakistan in September to oversee the PML-N’s election campaign. However, it was determined Nawaz would postpone his return until a later time during the Nawaz-Shehbaz meeting.

The political approach of the PML-N and the nation’s political climate were discussed by both party leaders.

Earlier this week, Shehbaz travelled to London to visit his older brother, talk about significant political developments leading up to the general election, and decide when the party chief would be returning to Pakistan.

Nawaz left the nation for medical treatment in November 2019 after being found guilty in a corruption case. Since then, he hasn’t been back, and he’s got lots of cases in Pakistan.
