Shehbaz Sharif, a former prime minister, confirmed that there had been “no change” in his brother Nawaz’s plans to return to Pakistan.
Nawaz, who is the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), is schedule to arrive on October 21.
No Change in Nawaz Sharif’s return: Just hours after his arrival from the UK, Shehbaz Sharif hurried back to London, which sparked rumours that Nawaz Sharif would have changed his travel itinerary.
The former premier spent several weeks in London before departing, but as soon as he arrived in Lahore, he decided on the spur of the moment to come back for a meeting with his older brother, party leader Nawaz Sharif.
According to sources, prominent members of the PML-N, including Maryam Nawaz, Ishaq Dar, Abid Sher Ali, Mian Javed Latif, Talal Chaudhry, Burjees Tahir, and Sheikh Rohail Asghar, attended a consultation meeting in London.
Speaking at the event, the leader of the PML-N claimed that in 2017, a conspiracy dragged Pakistan, a prosperous country, to the verge of extinction.
He claimed that “Qamar Bajwa, Faiz Hameed, Saqib Nisar, and Azmat Saeed are criminals of 22 million people.”
He stated that the nation would not be able to advance unless those responsible for the scheme are prosecuted.
Shehbaz Sharif said that Nawaz Sharif had instructed him to return to London while speaking with journalists. The PML-N supremo’s return plan has not changed, he continued.
Shehbaz stated in response to a query that he never travelled to Gujranwala and did not convene any meetings.

The former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had previously confirmed Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan on October 21. He continued, “We will welcome him splendidly in Pakistan.”
He claimed that a plot involving Pakistan in the region had led to his brother’s removal from office.
Shehbaz Sharif told reporters in London, “We held discussions with the senior leadership of the party and determined that the PML-N supremo will return to Pakistan in October and head the election campaign.
The president of the PML-N also stated that his brother would visit Pakistan and “there are no two opinions on it”
Ishaq Dar, a former finance minister, earlier claimed that Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the PML-N, faces no obstacles to running in elections.
Ishaq Dar reported that the president’s approval and the parliament’s passage of article 62 (1) (f), which reduced the disqualification sentence to five years.
He asserted that the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and the leader of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), Jahangir Tareen, are now qualified to run for office as a result of the adoption of article 62 (1) (f).
