Following the Pakistan Cricket Board’s approval, the match between Pakistan and India in the group stage of the ODI World Cup 2023 will now take place on October 14.

Pakistan-India match rescheduled: The organizers initially scheduled the matchup between the bitter rivals to take place on October 15 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium. However, Indian security organisations advised the government to alter the schedule in a letter.

Despite the change in the match’s schedule, the stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium, will still host the intense contest.

The match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka has also had its schedule altered, and now the green team will play Sri Lanka on October 10 in Hyderabad, two days sooner than originally planned.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India will now publish a revised schedule for the matchup between bitter rivals, after holding discussions with the International Cricket Council and obtaining approval from the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Pakistan’s participation in the major cricket event is uncertain. The committee set aside the 3rd of August for a high-profile meeting to consider the green team’s participation in the ICC World Cup in India.
