Pakistan sets deadline for illegal immigrants: Sarfraz Bugti, the acting interior minister, announced during a press conference following the meeting of the top committee, which was presided over by the acting prime minister, that unlawful foreign residents had been given until November 1 to depart the country.

He claimed that anyone arriving after November 5 needs a visa to enter Pakistan.

In a tweet on X (previously Twitter), interim communication minister Murtaza Solangi also stated that the government has ordered illegal aliens living in Pakistan 28 days to leave the country.

State-run Radio Pakistan reported that they made the decision to enhance the nation’s law and order situation.

The head of the army, civil and military officials, and other relevant authorities were present at the Tuesday meeting of the apex committee.

The interim interior minister has reportedly asked foreign nationals residing unlawfully in the country to leave voluntarily.

He continued, “After November 1, all state law enforcement agencies will mobilize to take action against the illegal foreign nationals.”

Furthermore, Bugti announced that after the deadline, they would also seize all illegal properties and enterprises operated by illegal nationals.

The authorities will subject any Pakistani citizen found involved in unlawful businesses or the construction of properties by illegal foreign nationals to legal prosecution.

The minister announced that the interior ministry has also established a task group to oversee and carry out these initiatives.

According to Bugti, the government’s first concern is ensuring the safety and security of the Pakistani people.
