Describe Eid ul Azha.
People around the world, including in Pakistan, celebrate the Islamic holiday by observing the Eid prayer at the start of their day. One of the prominent customs of the festival involves performing the Qurbani, or animal sacrifice, as a way to commemorate Hazrat Ibrahim’s (A.S) willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah SWT. The sacrificed animal is typically a goat, sheep, cow, or pig.
Additionally, After sacrificing the animal, the individuals who performed the ritual divide the flesh into three portions. They keep one-third for themselves, share another third with their family and friends, and distribute the remaining third to the destitute and underprivileged.
Families and friends join together to enjoy meals, exchange gifts, and participate in social activities during the main holiday. Further, For many days, there is a festive mood as people visit one another’s houses and take part in neighbourhood activities.
