The Henley Passport Index, which has been continuously tracking the most travel-friendly passports since 2006, has published the most recent list of the world’s most potent passports for 2023.
Pakistani passport ranked fourth lowest in world: According to the most recent rankings, the most travel-friendly passports currently allow Pakistan’s nationals to access only 33 countries without a visa in advance, positioning Pakistan’s passport as the fourth worst in the world.
Singapore’s citizens can now visit 192 of the world’s 227 tourist destinations without a visa, making it the most powerful passport in the world.
For the first time in five years, Japan has dropped to third place on the Henley Passport Index from first. Spain, Germany, and Italy all jump up to second place with visa-free travel to 190 places.
Austria, Finland, France, Luxembourg, South Korea, and Sweden are additional passports that tied with Japan for third place.
After a six-year slump, the UK appears to have finally turned the round after moving up two spots to fourth in the most recent survey.
