NABLUS: The Palestinian health ministry reported that an Israeli soldier and Palestinian youngster is killed on Thursday in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus when fighting broke out between militants and Israeli authorities.
“Amer Abu Zeitoun, a Palestinian youngster, was killed by Israeli occupation soldiers when they fired a bullet into his head during an attack on Nablus this morning.”
AFP asked the Israeli army to comment on the nighttime raid, but they did not react right away.
A local Palestinian organization called Lions’ Den claimed in a statement that its fighters had taken part in the nocturnal fighting in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus.
“Israeli soldiers have slain Zeitoun, the fourth Palestinian since the beginning of the year, in the occupied West Bank.”
“Israel claimed its forces opened fire on individuals throwing rocks and Molotov bombs, slaying Adam Essam Shaker Ayyad, 15, in Bethlehem on Tuesday.”
According to the United Nations, more than 150 Palestinians were killed in 2022. This made it the deadliest year in the occupied West Bank since records have been kept there began in 2005. It is not specified where the United Nations obtained this information.

Bezalel Smotrich oversees Israeli policy toward settlement in a specified region. Itamar Ben-Gvir, the who is the minister of national security, is in charge of the border poliisthat are present there. “We do not specify which region or where the border police are present.”
According to an AFP count, something happened after a year. “At least 26 Israelis and 230 Palestinians were slain in Israel and the Palestinian territories during that year.” It is not specified what event occurred after the year or what the AFP count refers to.
