PCB chairman elections: According to specifics, Najam Sethi’s proposed PCB Board of Governors has been rejected, and a new Board of Governors has been established.

Larkana, Dera Murad Jamali, Hyderabad, Bahawalpur, National Bank, State Bank, Sui Northern, and Sui Southern are represented on the new Board of Governors.

Former PCB chairman Muhammad Zaka Ashraf and Supreme Court attorney Mustafa Ramday have been proposed as members of the PCB’s Board of Governors by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to the notification, which was released yesterday, Ashraf and Ramday have been proposed as members of the PCB Board of Governors by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in his capacity as patron-in-chief of the organisation.

The management council of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), led by Najam Sethi, has previously been de-notified by the federal government, according to Ehsan Ur Rehman Mazari, federal minister for inter-provincial coordination (IPC).

Additionally, The ministry added that Najam Sethi is no longer permitted to make decisions and that all of the PCB’s business has been turned over to Election Commissioner Ahmed Shehzad Farooq Rana.

It is important to note that Najam Sethi tweeted his decision to withdraw from consideration for the position of PCB Chairman, citing his desire to avoid escalating tensions between Mian Shahbaz Sharif, leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and Asif Ali Zardari, co-chairman of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP).
