Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to meet with the coalition parties alone as the current administration is set to expire this month, according to sources.

PM host dinner for parliamentarians today: Today, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will hold a banquet for the lawmakers and leaders of the coalition parties. The premier will also consult the coalition parties over the caretaker administration and other aspects of the general elections.

Along with meeting with the main political figures today, PM Sharif will also address the lawmakers.

The future general elections may be based on census data from 2023, according to earlier comments by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

In an interview with a private television network, the premier stated that they had already constituted a committee for the caretaker administration and that the government’s term would end on August 12.

He add that after the name is decide, the opposition leader Raja Riaz would also be consulte. Consultations with Nawaz Sharif are also ongoing.

Without wasting any time, he hoped that the progress-making process would continue even throughout the caretaker setup.

He stated that a government with a five-year term could address the country’s problems, as only the government’s performance could guarantee the respect for the vote.

The prime minister said that he disqualified the PML-N leader due to a plot, and he added that they only tried Nawaz Sharif for appearing in the Panama Papers, and no one else.

In response to a different question, he noted that following discussion and in accordance with the leadership’s decision, his party could seek seat adjustments with coalition parties in certain of the constituencies.
