Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will preside over a meeting of the Apex Committee of the recently established council to attract foreign investment into the nation.
PM Shehbaz to chair Apex Committee today: The meeting will have the attendance of all four chief ministers, Army Chief General Asim Munir, and federal cabinet members.
The members will examine the advancements made since the council’s creation. The meeting will take place in the Prime Minister House.
The committee plans to review and approve a strategy aimed at facilitating the entry of delegations of foreign investors.
The three sections of the Apex Committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council, established on June 21, are being divided. The Council will work to encourage additional Gulf nations to invest in Pakistan.
An executive committee and an implementation committee are also members of the council.
