PML-N removes Miftah Ismail: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) fired former Federal Ministers Miftah Ismail and Shah Muhammad Shah from their respective party positions on Monday.

Maryam Nawaz PML-N Chief Organiser made the announcement and voiced her “disappointment” with both leaders’ performances.

Maryam Nawaz announced that she would fire Shah Muhammad Shah, the province president, and Miftah Ismail, the general secretary, as part of the efforts to reorganize Sindh.

Additionally, Maryam Nawaz voiced her displeasure with the two leaders’ failure to stop significant party members from departing during casual meetings with senior party leaders.

The party has released Miftah Ismail from his party post and will not assign him any substantial responsibilities going forward.

She further emphasized that the leadership was not informed about such departures, indicating a failure in the communication and decision-making procedures.

However, After his dismissal as finance minister, Miftah Ismail publicly voiced his strong disagreement with the party’s leadership and policies. His outspoken criticism shed light on his discontent and highlighted potential divisions within the organization, sparking further discussions and debates among party members and the public.
