Police raid minister’s home: After Marri tribe members were discovered dead, law enforcement officers in the nation’s southwest stormed the home of Provincial Minister for Information and Works Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran.
A woman and two men’s bodies were pulled from a well in the Barkhan district on Tuesday and sent to Quetta, the provincial capital.
Provincial officials responded to the unfortunate tragedy by taking action after tribe members asked that MPA Khetran be subjected to a thorough investigation into the murders and claimed that five further members of their family were being held captive in his private prison.
In the meantime, a recent raid at the place turned up no hostages. A joint investigating team was formed to produce a report when the incident made news.
Despite the grave claims, Khetran denied any involvement in the terrible murder and claimed his rivals were behind it. He charged his son with plotting to undermine him and seize control of the household politics.
The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan sharply condemned the terrible act, calling it horrific, amid the outrage. Several tweets with the hashtag #JusticeForMarriageFamily are still showing up in the trending section. These tweets were uploaded on social media by individuals.
