PPP suspends party membership of Latif Khosa: The unhappy leader had received a show-cause letter from PPP for violating party rules.

Khosa’s membership in the PPP’s central executive committee (CEC) was also suspended by Syed Nayyer Hussain Bokhari, the party’s general secretary.

The news was announced via a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Khosa received a show-cause letter from the PPP last week asking him to provide an explanation as to why disciplinary action should not be taken against him for defying party policy.

The letter was written by Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and bears his signature.

“It then accused you, a member of the central executive committee, of defending/pleading/representing a leader of another political party in cases where he has been found guilty of corruption and in a case under the Official Secrets Act without obtaining prior approval from the leadership.”

According to the letter, Khosa has also attacked governmental cypher policy.

It had requested a response from him and stated that failure to do so would result in disciplinary action against him and a suspension from the PPP.
