Imran Khan’s bail in six instances was extended till July 19 by an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad.

PTI Chairman bail extended till July 19: Salman Safdar, Imran Khan’s attorney, told the court that since the police were the complainant, witness, and investigator, only the court could provide justice for his client.

Imran Khan joined the inquiry on Sunday, Safdar also informed the court.

The court requested an update on the status of the cases being investigated against the PTI chairman. Imran Khan had been accused of blocking highways by igniting tyres, to which Safdar retorted that all investigations had been finished.

The judge interrupted Safdar’s statements, saying he would prefer to hear the prosecution’s case first. The prosecutor claimed that in each of the three incidents, the police were pushing for an arrest.

The judge said he was “a clear man” who “would not tolerate” any injustice. He also said that, if necessary, he would take action against the police.

Imran Khan’s attorney requested a bail extension till July 19. Before extending the bond, the judge first demanded that all paperwork be produced.
