The hearing in the cypher case brought against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan will take place at Attock Jail.
PTI chairman’s cipher case heard tomorrow: A notification has indicate that they will hold the hearing in Attock Jail, where the ousted prime minister is incarcerate, citing “security issues” as the reason.
The announcement confirm that the Ministry of Law and Justice has grant authorization for the former prime minister’s cypher case to be conducte in Attock prison.
Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain of the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) will hear the PTI chief’s case inside the jail.
On August 5, Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI, was convicte in the Toshakhana case and sentenced to prison. The IHC had postponed his punishment as of August 29.
Nevertheless, the Attock jail staff, acting on a special court’s order, had him detained in “judicial lockup” in connection with the cypher case.
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) reserved its ruling on a plea filed by the PTI chairman against the law ministry’s choice to hold the cypher case trial at Attock jail earlier in the day.

The filing of the first information report (FIR) under the Official Secrets Act on August 15 was record in response to the Home Secretary’s complaint.
Further, Azam Khan, a former principal secretary to the PTI chairman and former prime minister, made shocking revelations that led to the filing of the case. Furthermore, He said that the former PM had utilised US money for his “political gains” and to prevent a motion of no-confidence against him.
