Ali Muhammad Khan, the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was detained six times before being freed from custody.

Muhammad Khan re-arrested for sixth time: Today, the anti-corruption court’s judge granted PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan’s bail request. Khan was detained once more by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) in a different case.

Khan was taken into custody by ACE officials at the jail gate right away. The PTI leader is now the subject of a fresh corruption investigation due to alleged money irregularities in construction projects.

Others who were nominated were Tufial Anjum and former minister Muhammad Atif.

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Mardan cleared the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader in the May 9 violence case earlier this month.

The Mardan police rearrested Ali Muhammad Khan, who was then brought before ATC Judge Syed Ubaidullah Shah.

To represent the PTI leader in court, Nadeem Shah’s attorney came. The judge dismissed Khan from the case after hearing the arguments in the case and ordered his release if he is not required in any other cases.

Ali Muhammad Khan, a former state minister, was initially detained in Rawalpindi, then in Islamabad, and finally in Peshawar before being sent to Mardan.

Prior to this, the Peshawar High Court (PHC) ruled that the former PTI MNA who was detained after the May 9 attack on military sites should be freed.
