After meeting party founder Nawaz Sharif and former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif in London, former opposition leader Raja Riaz joined Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).

Raja Riaz joins PML-N: According to reports, Raja Riaz met in London with Shehbaz Sharif, the leader of the PML-N and a former prime minister. Ishaq Dar, Ata Tarar, and Azam Nazir Tarar also came to the conference.

Raja Riaz, a former opposition leader, praised Shehbaz Sharif for the meeting and assured him of a warm welcome for Nawaz Sharif upon his return.

Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed Raja Riaz to the PML-N and predicted that his addition would enhance the party’s position.

“Shehbaz Sharif expressed disappointment that the government reintroduced the amendments in response to the Supreme Court’s decision, noting that these laws were altered to favor the PTI chairman’s pupils.”

Further, He said that the PM:-N supremo will return on October 12 as planned and his the recent NAB amendment will not affect his return.

SC invalidates NAB amendments

Additionally, The Pakistan Supreme Court declared on Friday that it had reserved judgement on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman’s appeal and that it had invalidated changes made to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) rules.

However, The top court granted Imran Khan’s plea to challenge changes made to the nation’s accountability rules under the previous Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)-led administration by a vote of 2-1 in favour of the petition. Khan is the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
