Rana Sanaullah says ‘no deadlock over assembly’s dissolution’

Rana Sanaullah, minister of the interior and leader of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), stated on Friday that there is no impasse between the government and the coalition partners on the dissolution of the assembly.

‘no deadlock over assembly’s dissolution’: In an interview with a private news network, Rana Sanaullah stated that the legislature would be dissolved two days before its official term ended. He acknowledged that the coalition partners are considering appointing a politician to the position of caretaker prime minister (PM).

He claimed that the coalition partners might choose Ishaq Dar or any other politician as the interim prime minister if they make a final choice.

Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the PML-N, would soon return to the nation, said Sanaullah. He explained that Nawaz Sharif would show up in court following the receipt of protective bail before engaging in political activity following his acquittal in all trials.

Rana Sanaullah, the interior minister and PML-N leader, earlier voiced fury over the criticism of finance minister Ishaq Dar’s nomination for the position of caretaker prime minister (PM).

In a statement, Rana Sanaullah urged people not to criticise the selection of Ishaq Dar as the interim prime minister.

He claimed that once they make recommendations for candidates to fill the position of caretaker premier, they will put forth the names of the candidates.

However, Sanaullah noted that the PML-N and other political parties have not yet chosen the caretaker premier. They are only making recommendations, and the authorities are considering them.

PML-N Leader Khawaja Asif Denies Ishaq Dar’s Candidacy for Caretaker Prime Minister

Ishaq Dar, the finance minister, cannot become the caretaker prime minister, according to PML-N central leader Khawaja Asif.

In an interview with a private news network, Khawaja Asif claimed that a caretaker PM functions like an umpire in a caretaker system. He said that they did not take Ishaq Dar’s name into consideration for the position of caretaker PM on any platform.

“He stated that the federal government had not indicated in any way that Dar would be appointe as caretaker PM.” Instead, a well-known media journalist released the information.
