Rashid joins Lahore Squad: Rashid Khan is now a member of the Lahore Qalandars team for the current eighth Pakistan Super League season (PSL).

The cricketer from Afghanistan arrived in Karachi in the early hours of Tuesday (today).

The leg-spinner will be eligible for today’s match at the National Bank Cricket Arena against the Quetta Gladiators.

Lahore, the defending champion, has two points after two games and is now at the bottom of the standings.

In the opening match of PSL 8, Lahore defeated Multan Sultans by one run thanks to rookie bowler Zaman Khan’s heroic defence of 15 runs in the final over.

It should be mentioned that PSL 8’s championship match and closing ceremony will take place on March 19 in Lahore, which will also host the playoffs.

In addition to receiving the Supernova Trophy, the victor will also receive a check for Rs120 million, while the losers will each receive a check for Rs48 million.

Lahore Qalandars will try to become the first team to win consecutive championships, while Islamabad United will try to make history by winning the trophy three times.

However, Eleven games will be played in Rawalpindi, nine games each in Karachi and Lahore, and five games in Multan.
